Biography

Born in Washington, D.C. to a family of musicians and singers, William had an ear for music from a very young age. He recalls being captivated by songs like Frankenstein (Edgar Winter) which to this day is one of his favorite songs. William started playing bass around 1979. In the years following, he learned to play guitar and some keyboards. He always had the dream of producing a CD since first picking up the bass. He has now released his debut CD Pillars and Dreams in fulfillment of that dream. He encourages other to keep perusing after their dreams.

This debut CD features several Jazz styles. Some tracks feature bass as a lead instrument highlighting funk, groove, and vintage cool straight ahead jazz. Two progressive jazz tracks and one solo bass evens out the mix.
