Quotes from friends :
Again listening to "Whales On The Radar" album by Roger ....while it started playing through a 2nd time, I found the sounds wrapping
around some haunting memories......
Roger's guitar is an interesting paint brush .... if you'll allow it to be one'.
I made my way to your music player and guess what? It rocks! It's really good, I like the vibe/sound.
from Muddy Waters to ZZ Top to Gary Moore. And if you know me, you know what a music snob I am. So, if I am enjoying it, there must be something to it. It will make your head bob, your feet tap, and your heart ache just like the blues were meant to do
The music is very honest...really... and interesting...yes ....uh .... but I don't know where to put you ....
what kind of music is this anyway? ( last publicist interview )
Wasn't expecting your music to be so soulful and moving.
I was really impressed with the guitar...and the music you have made with it.
One thing that makes a great song is if it sticks in your head. "Off The Grid" has been stuck in mine since last Saturday when I played your CD for Fara. It's a great song.
The emotion kind of just pours out effortlessly from the get-go of the song, I thought it just took off. Don't know why but it felt smooth like cascading water to my ear.
Really fresh vibe. Dug the wails; huge emotion; nice bass-lines at end (liked the touch/punch of the bass).
OK.... back to me telling you stuff
My guitar sound is often compared to Santana, Clapton, Beck, Buckethead and King..... I always feel complimented by the comparisons and wonder
if folks ever tell Carlos or Bucket that they sound like me... but it doesn't really matter I SAY about the music
sooooo.. its time for you to kick back and listen
