I have deep roots in Rock, Reggae, Blues and Gospel. I make music with my guitar and sing a bit. Each album has its own personality so give a listen.. and have a cookie.. things will be right as rain in the morning

Quotes from friends :

Again listening to "Whales On The Radar" album by Roger ....while it started playing through a 2nd time, I found the sounds wrapping around some haunting memories......

Roger's guitar is an interesting paint brush .... if you'll allow it to be'.

I made my way to your music player and guess what? It rocks! It's really good, I like the vibe/sound.

The music is very honest...really... and interesting...yes ....uh .... but I don't think we have a market for it ( last publicist interview )

Wasn't expecting your music to be so soulful and moving.

The emotion kind of just pours out effortlessly from the get-go of the song, I thought it just took off. Don't know why but it felt smooth like cascading water to my ear.
Really fresh vibe. Dug the wails; huge emotion; nice bass-lines at end (liked the touch/punch of the bass).

OK.... back to me telling you things

My guitar work is often compared to Santana, Clapton, Beck, Buckethead and King..... I always feel complimented by the comparisons and wonder if folks ever tell Carlos or Bucket that they sound like me....

I've been in Atlanta a while and have collaborated and performed with some very special folks including 'Angie Aparo' (the Prince of Americana), members of 'Mylon Lefevre and Broken Heart' (CCM pioneers) , 'MEDUSA' (Liberia's favorite Reggae band), 'Caroline Aiken' (the Queen of Indie Folkies), 'Alpha Blondy's Solar System Band' (West Africa's Reggae Kings), the eclectic 'Elephant's Gerald' and several iterations of his own bands.

I only 'claim' credit on (only) 12 albums but I contributed to 100's of projects during a 5 year tenure as guitarist/producer at Little River Studio including over 150 tracks for Thunderbird Records, projects for the famed SUN label and even a few projects for Tom Long ( then President of ASCAP ).

thanks for stopping by... its time to kick back and listen
