BIOGRAPHY
Born in BelIflower, California in 1957 to a Dutch father and a mother of Dutch descent, Sharon Kay Lindeman grew up in Redlands, California and moved to San Diego where she attended Point Loma College. She attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco. She trained at Integral Yoga Institute in New York City to become a yoga teacher using her then married name, Sharon Borden. She has taught yoga at Integral Yoga Institute as well as at The Ladybird Center in New York City. She also trained in Reiki under her Reiki Master Teacher, Louise Portier Stanfiel. She just returned from India where she toured with www.DalbirsIndia.com. Today she lives in New York State.
Writing mostly poetry, she has also composed music. Her poetry can be found at www.poetseers.org, www.fairiesworld.com, www.thegoldenlantern.com, www.poetryofscotland.co.uk, www.poeticmatrixpress.com as well as her "To a Unicorn" (also called "To The Unicorn" and "The Unicorn Gallops") up at the www.unicornlady.net. Myrea Pettit and David Riche of www.fairiesworld.com post her poems now. They and Bernard Higton are responsible for including
her poems, "Fairy of the Winter's Day" in the "Faeryland2011" calendar, "The Fae of the Garden" in the "Faeryland2012" calendar, and "A Fairy's Christmas" in the new "Faeryland2013" published by Palazzo Editions and being sold at Calendars.com. She is extremely grateful to all the above sites and to their web masters.
She composes by ear, no notation. She has composed instrumental as well as in other musical genres. Her instrumentals include "Manya's Theme", "Song for My Father", "Fairy Child, Song for My Daughter", "A Rose for My Mother", "Ascent of the Children of Lir", and "From Redlands to Hino" among others. "Come to Me" and "Till I Thirsted No More" are spiritual songs she composed in India in 2008. One of her poems "Honied Yellow Dripping Gold" (Autumn Poem) has been made into a hard style rock song also called "Autumn Green" by Josh and Wesz. They found this poem on the internet at www.poetseers.org. She is honored they gave her credit for having written the lyrics. She is now working on an instrumental as yet unnamed. She has the bones to the song, but not the skill to have it properly executed. Her greatest desire would be to have this music placed into the hands of someone who has the skill to perform them properly.
Her guide for writing poetry has been Rilke's "Letters to a Young Poet". Listen to the waves,
feel the presence of the angels, and write from the soul.

Tejvan Pettinger hosts another website in addition to www.poetseers.org. It is called www.writespirit.net. He has faith quotes
there. Here are several:
Faith is the bird that sings
When the dawn is still dark.
Tagore
Faith is to believe what you do not see;
the reward of this faith is to see what you believe.
St. Augustine
Faith is a knowledge within the heart,
beyond the reach of proof.
Khalil Gibran
And here is one of her own, inspired by the above poets.
Faith is the feather
floating through air,
Apart from the wing,
lifting despair.

Here is a poem she wrote and posted at www.poetseers.org and www.fairiesworld.com. There has
always been only one verse to this poem.
Jewel of Love

And yet we are there
and never travelled
The journey abandoned
yet still we follow
Whispering secrets of the soul
tempered by the sweet
jewel of love.
Here is one of the last poems she sent to www.fairiesworld.com.
Words
Words as weapon
or quelled as friend
Compassion's chariot
lifts again.

Today she submitted two more poems to www.fairiesworld.com.
Here is one of them:
Hold the Moon
Hold the moon
For too soon
The day will draw away,
Sylph of fire
Soon to transpire
Myriads of soaring stars.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Here is a poem she just submitted to www.poetseers.com.
Where angels dwell
upon the swell
of the grey green sea
The risen waves
collect the rays
of eternity.
