Wendy Webb

American singer/songwriter Wendy Webb releases her fourth album, "This Is The Moment" in the USA 2015 and in Europe 2016 to rave reviews. Reminiscent of classic records from the 1970's Laurel Canyon days Webb creates her own style fusing elements of folk, pop, jazz and blues into her music and poetic lyrics. Webb’s debut album,"Morning In New York", won critical acclaim in 2003, followed by "Moon On Havana" and "Edge Of Town". Webb has received honors in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest as well as the Lilith Fair Songwriting Competition. She plays annually to sold out crowds at BIG ARTS Sanibel, Florida. Originally from Iowa, Webb now resides in Florida and has also performed in Cuba, Paris, and New York.

In March 2015, Webb was invited by the Florida House on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. to perform her song "Florida" for members and distinguished guests. Webb received a standing ovation following her performance at the historic Decatur House in Washington April 30, 2015. In December 2015, "Venus Is Rocking In The Cradle Of The Moon" was selected #1 'Song Of The Year' by Phil Maq at WHFR 89.3 Dearborn, MI. Three more songs from "This Is The Moment" were listed in Hot 100 Songs. Phil Maq also honored Webb with the bronze Philby award for BEST POP ALBUM - "This Is The Moment". Webb is currently working on her next album "Step Out Of Line" to be released on Spooky Moon Records in 2016.

Wendy Webb has produced three videos for This Is The Moment, beginning with the single "Venus Is Rocking In The Cradle Of The Moon" from her new album This Is The Moment, followed by "Florida" with live concert footage and photography. "Long Day In The Sun" images come from a trip Webb took while staying in a 300 year old Casa in the old- walled city of Cartagena, Colombia. In her fourth video release this year, Webb combines elements from her trips to Cuba in 2007 and 2008 where she first recorded the song "Moon On Havana" at Radio Progreso Havana. Visiting Cuba inspired her to write and record her second album titled Moon On Havana.

New videos: Wendy Webb performs with Brent Moyer " the classic American heritage song "Poor Wayfarng Stranger" live from the Strauss Theater, and "Someday Soon" by Ian Tyson. Look for Webb's new live video of her song "Woman In The Country".
