Brooklyn-bred emcee Yah Supreme is a long-time fixture of the independent music scene. His 1998 commercial release “Old & Wise” was an underground hit followed by subsequent releases through Son Doo Recordings and Paris’ Underground Academy. Since dropping his album “Post Modern Garden” in 2006, Yah has been performing regularly in New York City with his band Brohemian, while preparing to release his upcoming album “Naked City.” Yah Supreme & Brohemian is a continuum of rhythmic exploration: a soulful, fun and funky variation on hip-hop.
