Established in 2010, the indie group Dare 2 Dream (D2D) is fronted by lead artist/songwriter Kenny McNeil (K Mac) & producer/engineer Matthew Shell (MTS). K Mac’s music was featured in a BMW commercial & MTS was recently featured by GRAMMY.com. D2D's album "What's Your Dream?" features artists from around the world. The newest D2D single & accompanying music video "We'll Find A Way" were recently re-released with new bonus tracks. "We'll Find A Way" is beginning to gain exposure & radio-play across the US. However, D2D is still on the precipice of a big break & appreciative to their loyal & growing fan-base.
ABOUT K MAC
D2D's lead artist Kenny McNeil (K Mac) is a music veteran from a small town in Virginia who has been involved in multiple projects over the years. His recent 2012 collaboration with producer Amir Marcus on the single "Die With You" is getting support from DJ's in his current city of Las Vegas as well as overseas. Kenny has written for Rob Mercer on his hit single "Amazingly" and has also written for Free from BET's 106 & Park. Kenny showed versatility and passion in his 2010 collaborative and genre bending album release “D2D (Dare To Dream) - What's Your Dream?”. Kenny's music was featured in a 2007 BMW commercial and his song "So Seductive" was featured on a DJ Smallz mixtape.
ABOUT MTS
D2D's lead producer Matthew Shell (MTS) is a Washington DC based music producer & engineer, recently featured on GRAMMY.com. He has produced artists such as Marcus Johnson, Carolyn Malachi, D2D & Paul Jackson Jr. & has engineered for O.A.R., Free, DJ Flexx, Jeff Lorber, Marcus Mitchell & Gerald Albright, among others. Most recently, MTS produced/mixed the collaborative jazz album with flautist Trey Eley titled "Freedom". In addition to Greg Adams, the album also features bassist Markus Huber, pianist Vahagn Stepanyan & vocal artist Kenny Wesley, among others. MTS' upcoming album "Victorious" will feature many of his favorite collaborators, including Kenny McNeil, Javier Starks, Danielle Withers & 2013 GRAMMY nominee Arun Shenoy.
