Q. When you sit down to write a song is it for the moment? Is there a reason you fell in love with Hip Hop? Your lyrics, what inspires you to write or do you just want a one hit?
And why the name you chose?

Where did that come from?


A. When I write a song it’s for the present into the future I’m a producer as well so I always try to create a new sound always looking for the new. To me it isn’t always about what you saying its how you say it “Delivery”
a strong hook great format, stick to the script and you have a great song ...something you can feel whether its a good feel or a emotional feel as long as it sounds strong and captures you ..Its a hit .my technics is when I leave the studio and I’m riding in the car I role the windows down turn the music up and if the people on the corner is nodding or bouncing there heads I got something...(A HIT!!)
I’ve been making music since 1987
my first show was in my elementary school auditorium
3 rd grade I was written R&B at the age of 9
and started rapping since 10 which then inspired my brother to rap
and my 2 sisters to sing ..Music is my life it is the sounds of the streets...my mother had told me when she was pregnant with me , I use to kick when she would rest, so to make me relax she would put the head phones on her belly and I would calm down ..music is my life besides the street politics when I say this is my life I mean you cant ignore the streets when it surrounds you daily and you came from the Housing projects 30 apartments in every building only 1 out of every 50 will have a chance to become someone ..I plan to change that with growth and development .I started my own company with my brothers (Angreemen Ent LTD...)

Murdaveli came from the streets!! The homies use to call me TwoGunzMurda when I was on my young get my point across by any means necessary plan ,but violence was my remedy until I learned that I was going to a lot of my friends funerals ,kind of made me afraid to make real friends and maybe its better to stay by myself for a while ,then I had my daughter and Pac was my boy as far as his music and motivation ,I felt like everything he said was everything I was going threw so when the makaveli album came out it kind of inspired me to move in a new way god gave me a gift ,the power to speak and to reach each and every person on these streets ,so I’m a use it to the best of my ability so makaveli meant a man that faked his death or died and came back I figure the old me died and the new me is here now more focus then ever so I took the MURDA From my name and The Veli from Makaveli and came up with MURDAVELI. Since 1999.....I’m from the Bronx New York straight out of Edenwald Projects the bottom of the bottom belly of the beast ,the belly of hip hop How Pac said it(“THE ROSE THAT GREW FROM CONCREATE”! don’t worry about me worry about what comes after me!!”)
