I have been a piano teacher for the past 18 years. I have a Bachelor's Of Music Education Degree from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. I truly love teaching piano but I have always had a heart for music composition. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to produce my first CD of original piano compositions. My early influences were church music and the standard love songs of the 1930's, 1940's, and 1950's. These influences helped to shape the style in which I play the piano today. That style is one of easy listening, gentle, soothing, and meditative.
Artist Description: As a composer, performer, and teacher, Ginger Haydon combines all three ingredients to create her heartfelt and creative keyboard style. She has the ability to communicate with her audience in a way that transports them into another place and time. Her beautiful compositions will be as fragrant to the soul as flowers in a lovely garden are to one's physical senses.
