notes
Tone Indbryn is a Canadian singer/songwriter and poet. Tone creates original songs that reach forward from a varied blend of contemporary and folk music influences resulting in a style that is both traditional and current.
For the past six years Tone has been performing for audiences in many local venues, in addition to her festival appearances. Tone is both entertaining and engaging in live settings, combining refreshing on-stage banter with strong lyrical and vocal abilities to create a "room vibe" which draws an audience into her performances. Utilizing an honest approach to songwriting that everyone can identify with, Tone's original repertoire moves from subtle emotional delicacy to uninhibited seething anger, while keeping perspective with her well-tempered sense of humour.
In addition to completing her debut cd Silence, Tone is active in her musical community of vancouver She created the now defunct Urban Folk Caravan , Moonlighting Mommas mothers day cabaret with Mary Sue Bell, honouring the creative works of mothers as part of the Mayworks Festival. She has partctpated in many variety shows, fundraisers, political and charity events . She can be contacted through this site or toneindbrynhotmail.com.

Tone Indbryn has a unique and creative style.
author: Marnie GreyTones CD is creative, unique and her vocals are amazing. The fuck me song is catchy and rhythmic and the time song is beautiful both vocally and lyrically. I do not think that Tones CD should be compared to Hot Tea's CD, they are completely different. Tones CD may have explicit lyrics but personally I think her presentation is better to the listening ear.
