Richie Owens is a singer/songwriter from Hatfield, Arkansas, population 411. His music reflects the artists he grew up with on 70's radio, as well as the folk and bluegrass roots common to the hills of Arkansas.

Richie's debut CD, "Like A Child," features 14 original songs ranging in styles from bluegrass to alternative. He lists Michael Card and John Michael Talbot among his primary influences, but is most often compared stylistically to artists like James Taylor and John Denver.

Like a Child is a gem waiting to be found. Each song has a clear message. If you are looking for acoustic Christian music with something to say, here it is. This CD will be breath of spiritual fresh air to anyone listening to it.

Like A Child is filled with nice melodies and gentle guitar chords. Heartfelt lyrics mesh with varying musical genres in a subtle manner that lends just the right amount of variety to this CD. Each song is a special treat you just have to hear!
