Calum Hughes Collective: If I Sing It Loud Enough ( for Livia ) (2011)

Calum, growing up in Northern BC, started performing at age 6. This has brought him to perform all over North America. The Collective’s live show with Electric guitar, Piano, Drums, Bass and Calum on the Accoustic leave a sense of “wow! - who was that just on stage” feeling. We love that feedback. David Gray & Dave Matthews musicianship with an Eddie Vedder voice is how this group has been described. To date, Calum has recorded three albums as a founding member of the band Kinship and one solo album called "And that's OK with Me". Calum has been invited to perform all over North America at such festivals as NXNE, NXNW, SXSW, COCA. Calum's penmanship has shown through in his freshman album (First Born) and sophomore album (Next of Kin) - sales are over 25,000 units. Flash forward a few years and Calum found himself winning Western Canada Songwriting Competition for a "Single Soldier". That album, Calum's third, (Boneshaker) won album of the year in the BCIMA's.
