Pisces Syndrome
Pisces Syndrome
Put simply, this album is blues-based-indie-rock, but this Brisbane band obviously don’t mind cross-pollinating a few genres and heading off on a few tangents along the way! With a style certain to appeal to a wide cross section of listeners, this self titled debut album could well be the start of a new chapter in the Oz indie music scene. Sometimes soaring, sometimes howling vocals are performed by Luke Hobbs, who also plays rhythm guitar. On the lap steel & lead guitar is Matt Newton, who is also credited with some pretty mean blues harp on the album. The rhythm section keeps the show rolling with Shane Tapp handling the fretwork on bass and Craig Mosely thumping out the beats on the kit.

The Drip Dry Man and His One Man Beat Revolver
This Is Primitive
The Drip Dry Mansounds more like he is from the swamplands of the American Deep South rather than Aberystwyth, Wales. His signature sound of rasping fuzz , whore-house angles and darkness-infused chain gang sound, paint Howlin Wolf and Tom Waits at their growling bluesy-best.
