    Flute...
This CD is the result of a wonderful collaboration between artists: musicians, producers and designers. It shows off the flute and piano as a duo in recital, keeping edits to an absolute minimum.

Skowronski Plays! -DICHOTOMY- Sonatas of Ernest Bloch
By definition: Dichotomy (n), a separation into two divisions that differ widely from or contradict each other; we believe the "separation" of the two sonatas as per the composer's intent is self-evident. Enjoy the phantasmagoria!

    Diamonds Uncovered
Within the repertoire of extant flute and piano sonatas, there exists a large body of work that remains relatively unknown among performers and scholars. With this in mind, Deanna Little and Jerome Reed have undertaken to perform and record five such sonatas in order to augment the current canon of regularly-performed compositions. Each of the five works on this recording was written by a North American composer during the twentieth century. While they all share certain traits of scoring and formal construction, each is unique in its inspirations, soundscapes, and challenges for the performers.
