    Jeremy Myers
    Johnny in the Briar Patch
    Traditional, Missouri Old-Time fiddle music
This CD was recorded and produced by Jeremy Myers in his home studio. Jeremy is playing the accompaniments to the Fiddle which also includes the Guitar and the Banjo. Jeremy began playing music at the age of 5 starting with a harmonica; then at 7, he began to learn to play the guitar from his uncle. At 22 he began to go to McClurg, a local Ozarks Jam Session, and there he was introduced to the world of Traditional fiddle music or also known as “Old-Time”. Since that time, he has taken lessons from Ashley Hull, a student of the late Bob Holt (1999 National Heritage Award receiver) and has learned numerous tunes from recordings of greats such as Cyril Stinnet, Fred Stoneking, Howard Marshal, Lonnie Robertson, Lyman Enloe and more. He began playing Banjo and Mandolin since his introduction to “Old-Time Music”. Jeremy has always lived in Missouri and currently resides in Oldfield Missouri with his wife Brandy on their 3.5 acre farm.
