    Revent
    Revent
Alternative Metal built on dynamic progressions, aggressive rhythms, powerful guitars and earnest, penetrating vocals.
Combining heavy-hitting rock music with soulful wailings, REVENT crafts songs with both precision and heart. Keeping their energies focused on intense live performance and uncompromising lyrical content -- the result is primal and honest. REVENT’s self-titled freshman release (available April 25th, 2008) features the explosive and sincere opus Stare at the Sun and eight other original tracks. The self-produced and self-titled album is built on dynamic progressions, aggressive rhythms, powerful guitars and earnest, penetrating vocals. Formed in Los Angeles in 2007, REVENT consists of Ian Madden on vocals and guitar, Kevin Cliver on bass, and the rhythm section is held down by drummer Josh Rosenblatt. Seattle transplants Madden and Rosenblatt have played together since 2003 and the Texas native Cliver completes the three-piece. REVENT draws inspiration from bands such as NIN, A Perfect Circle, Muse, QOTSA, Pantera and Jeff Buckley. REVENT has performed all over Southern California, in such famous venues as: The Viper Room (Hollywood, CA), Knitting Factory (Hollywood, CA), Good Hurt (Venice, CA) and 14 Below (Santa Monica, CA).
