Dark-folk with psychedellic elements. The vocals and lyrics seem weightless in these ethereal, haunting, hymns--maintaining a southern quality. There is a quiet power in both the fragility and conviction found here.

    Like Clockwork
    All Signs Point To Yes
Something old. Something new. That’s the critical musical balance behind Like Clockwork: an odyssey of sound, mind, spirit, and poetic lyricism from the chaotic, yet diametrically romantic mind of Jesse Astin.
"All Signs Point To Yes" was recorded in the summer/fall of 2007. It was tracked in various places along the way. Drums and Bass were recorded in a furniture warehouse in West Atlanta surrounded by prostitution, drugs, strip clubs and industrial manifesto. Guitars and vocals were recorded in numerous places along my journey out of Atlanta and in to Los Angeles. In the midst of a personal crisis, Jesse Owen Astin found himself surrounded by dark and led back to the light.. again. The record features Like Clockwork favorites such as "All The Money In The World" and "No Sleeping Alone" re-recorded with band members Tony Belser (Drums) and Will Raines (Bass & Keyboards) to capture the raw sound that portrays Like Clockwork's epic live performance, yet maintaining the pop magic that has embodied previous recordings. The newest release from Like Clockwork proves yet again that even in a world of doubt and spiritual turmoil Jesse Astin's original concepts still prove true and there is no doubt in anyone's mind that all signs do point to yes.
