    Folklores that might have existed somewhere in the world
    Hyogen are japanese pop music band, who explore folklores that might be existed somewhere in the world. From 2005, Kuya Sonoda and former guitarist Endo started the band in Tokyo, and from 2006~2007, they held regular free concerts at their own underground studio and invited many musicians such as OWKMJ, cero, Q and etc. In 2008, Hyogen composed and performed for a dance performance "脈拍(Myaku-Haku)" at Kawasaki Art Center in collaboration with Yukina Sakai, dancer/choreographer. Since then, Hyogen invite dancers for their stages casually. 2009, original member and drummer Masanori Iwasaka quit the band, and with participation of accordionist Mayu Gonto, Hyogen start to play in an acoustic style. Now Hyogen are preparing for recording of the 2nd album with many guest musicians. The first album "Hyogen" was released on January 2009. All songs were composed and performed by Baku Furukawa(Gt.), Kimiya Sato(Vo.&Vn.), Kuya Sonoda(Ba.), Masanori Iwasaka(Dr.). Mixing was done by Kazuhiro Abo, Artwork by Takahiro Sekine.
