    Aonua
Beautiful other-worldly music from the South Pacific that will take you away to a magical journey through this island paradise. Hear Polynesian instruments, vocals and natural wildlife, blended with contemporary instrumentation like never before.
Description Aonua is an original blend of Polynesian instruments, vocals and native wildlife, mixed with contemporary European sounds with the purpose of taking the listener away to a beautiful South Pacific experience. Listening to this music has been described as spiritual and healing. You will be taken on an amazing journey of feelings and emotions, to the idyllic island paradise of the South Pacific. The lyrics are written in the languages of Maori (the indigenous people of New Zealand) and English, so the listener can hear the beauty of the Maori language while still understanding the meaning of the songs. This album was recorded within a native forest of New Zealand. Bio AONUA is a musical collaboration from the South Pacific islands of New Zealand comprising vocalist Taisha and composer/producer Malcolm Smith. Taisha is from Maori descent with her ancestory from the Nga Puhi tribe.
