Viking Skull
Chapter Two
Whiskey drenched rock straight from Sabbath Country, England. The only band to ever receive an 11 out of 10 review from metal hammer magazine.
If you took equal parts Whiskey, Motorhead, Sabbath, Maiden, mixed in a little WASP, then washed it down with some AC/DC you would have Viking Skull. Members of fellow british band, Raging Speedhorn formed Viking Skull in 2002 and the following year they released their first record "Chapter One". After top-notch press reviews they landed a spot on the Download Festival and the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards. In 2005 their second effort "Born in Hell" was released through the Grand Recordings label and the band was later invited to join Alice Cooper and Twisted Sister on tour but later cancelled because they were tired of dealing with "silly old men with egos". After sharing the stage in 2006 with such acts as CKY, Clutch and HIM - Roddy and Waldie parted ways with Gordon and Darren following an argument after a show in Amsterdam (a bottle of Absinthe didnt help matters much obviously.) Several months later, Roddy got Jules Cooper and Jess Margera to replace them, grabbed Waldie, and traveled to America to begin recording "Chapter Two" in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Chapter Two also features guest appearances from Reverend Jim of Fireball Ministry, the Brandywine Eel of Gnarkill, Unkle Matt & the Shitbirdz, and Chad I Ginsburg of CKY. As a CDBaby exclusive, every order placed in 2007 will feature a free Blackened Sunrise EP with 3 extra songs and a remix, as well as the Blackened Sunrise video directed by Bam Margera.
