Formed in 2000, Brian Hunter (Rhythm/Lead Guitar, Sitar, Oud) and Cory Schamble (Drums/Percussion) had auditioned countless numbers of musicians to find the right members who shared the same passion, creativity, and dedication for music as they did. After extensive searching, they recruited Jon Vendetti (Lead Vocals), Steve Viola (Guitars), Miguel Castro (Lead Percussion), and Eric Bergmann (Bass) to complete the band. As they say, ‘the rest is history’.
Since the formation of ONE BRICK DOWN, they have only been moving foward, gaining a growing, loyal fanbase in the process. They have played countless shows with national acts including HATEBREED, GOD FORBID, EVERGREEN TERRACE, THE ACACIA STRAIN, TERROR, SWORN ENEMY, SIX FEET UNDER, CARNIFEX, E-TOWN CONCRETE-the list goes on and on. In addition, the band recently won THE BREAK CONTEST, earning a slot on the BAMBOOZLE 2008 tour in Giant STADIUM (a crowd of 50,000+ people!).
Now the band is itching to break out with their latest release, “TRIBALCORE LEADER”. This album is certainly creating a buzz, catching the ears of well-known SIRIUS RADIO metal dj JOSE MANGIN. “This album is straight-up BRUTAL!!!”, says MANNY RAMIREZ (President of the SOULFLY Street Team). With MANGIN’S full support, ONE BRICK DOWN has been put into heavy rotation on SIRIUS HARD ATTACK, and are receiving awesome fan support nationwide.
