Song House Records is proud to announce the release of the "Artist for a Cure" CD. This is a CD that represents two years of searching, recording and producing 17 great songs from some very talented indie songwriters and artist from around the world. All proceeds of the CD go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (www.cff.org) to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis, a cause close to our hearts.

The Artist and Songwriters on this CD are very special. Not only did they dedicate their efforts to this project, they have produced some of the best individual songs you will hear this year! These songs will bring to mind the first time you heard Billy Joel, Janis Joplin, Chicago, Cindy Lauper and Elton John.

The first release called "One Step Closer" by Josh Davis and Eddie Stroop, was selected by the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (www.cff.org) for their national campaign called "Great Strides". This one event raised more than 24 million dollars last year for CF. The song "One Step Closer" will be released to over 600 cities in the U.S. next year for the campaign. You can hear the song now!!

    These songs are wonderful and truly touching. I have a 14 year old cousin named Josh living with this heartbreaking disease. It is really hard for me to have to stop playing with my other cousins, for Josh to have to take his medications. I raise money every year for CF, and I think it's about time that they make CF stand for Cure Found! Thanks for making these songs and putting wonderful lyrics into it.     I have two sons with CF. They are 18 and 21. They are doing well but the road has been difficult. My daughter who is 10 has chosen to do a solo dance to "One Step Closer to a Cure" to show her love and admiration for her two brothers.     The words on the CD remind me of everyday that we have with Destinee. She doing good now but we don't know how much longer we have with her. I listen to this CD by myself were know one knows that I cry because God could take her anytime. Its a great CD!

    Thank you for a great CD. My 4 year old daughter has CF which is why I organize our local Great Strides walk. "One Step Closer" really gets me motivated to get out there and fundraise. "Daddy's Date" is such a wonderful song and has such meaning to our lives since daddy is away from home a lot. They really enjoy their days together when he's not working out of town.

    There are several songs that really touch my heart: I love One Step Closer to a Cure. My hope and prayer is that a cure for my grandson Bryce is just one step away. However, there are some songs on the CD that I wonder where they came from, they just don't seem to fit in with the other songs.

    Great CD!! my nephew is 2 1/2 and he has CF. When he was about 6 months old he kept getting sick and all the doctors said nothing was wrong with him then we found out thst her had CF. I love love love this CD. I know that my nephew thanks everybody for this CD.
