"Simply beautiful music to ease the way to dreamland, played by master guitarist Alan Goodman. His tender touch lends quiet intimacy to well-chosen traditional and original melodies with such cozy titles as "London Hush Baby," "Lullybye Bye," "Tranquila" and "Eensy Weensy Medley." Sunshine, starshine and moonlight."

***************
"The new album from guitar maestro Alan Goodman is a bold and innovative journey into the world of lullabies. The melodies are strong, lilting, and at times playful. The playing is spirited, full of the flamenco flourishes we have come to expect from Alan, and yet still understated enough to let the melodies sing. This is a 'wind-down' album meant not only for children but for anyone who needs an honest and engaging send off after a hard day..or night. Truly solo guitar music for all ages."

Excellent recording
author: LauraI really enjoyed the tempo and smooth grace of this CD and it fits in very nicely in my collection for the pre-twilight time on the balcony, sipping a fine wine, with my beagle at my feet!
Another exceptional album from this marvelous musician!
author: Kim LoftisIn this, his stellar second album, Alan creates sterling lullabies filled with warmth, richness and eloquence. Yes, I did say eloquence. Few musicians have the prowess to allow their instruments to speak, but Alan’s guitar speaks volumes, and the words it utters are angelic, indeed. On Under The Bed, Alan’s guitar is joined by chimes and triangles, which add to the sparkle and shimmer of these lovely, lyrical tunes. The incorporation of old favorite strains of song brings a touch of sweet nostalgia to these originals, which will have you humming along. These pieces are graceful, peaceful and, of course, restful. Believe me, you don’t have to be a child to enjoy these pieces! As a musician, I love the grace, fluidity and technique of Alan’s playing. On another level, I enjoy the intense beauty of every piece. And yes, on a third level, they are guaranteed to melt away your stress and anxiety and replace them with joy and happiness. And if those old childhood melodies interwoven throughout these songs don’t make you smile, you should take some time off to smell the roses! Like fireflies on a summer evening, this album shines brightly from the first notes through the final ones. Come on, folks, buy this to add some beauty to your hectic lives, and let your inner child out to dream a while! Sit back, relax, and let these glorious, gorgeous melodies carry you away to Dreamland! Another masterpiece from this wonderful, passionate guitarist! Buy it!
