  • The perfect CD!

Just listen to it...and YOU'll see why!! (It may incites you to think about yourselves!)

  • Truly Amazing CD, Loved it!!!!!!
    author: Robin G. Pinto

The album starts with this line "Never Quite Felt Right but then I never quite felt wrong" from Wake Me When It's Green, and from there Just Literally took my breath away, and set a story of emotion and a Incredible Musical Journey that unfolded beautifully throughout the entire album. If Only the Major Labels could have bands like ALSO, there still might be a few more Record Companies in The Business!:)

  • Music that will turn a smirk into a smile (if you want it)
author: John Book, Music For America

It Was Fine To Be Kind (Also Music) by Also may not win an award for originality, but their brand of modern rock will definitely appeal to fans of melodramatic British rock, not all the way emo but when you hear the music you'll feel the intent of the emotions. Vocalist Drew Conrad has a voice that works the lyrics to its fulliest potential, very expressive when needed and reserved when there's a need to pull on the heart strings. The lyrics are quite morose at times, as "Know Your Walls" touches on becoming friendly with your own isolated world, or the bitterness of ones opinion of themselves in "Breathe". Conrad's lyrics often seems to have a need to have a conversation with God in order to understand why he is the way he is, either wanting to place blame on his own concept of God, or simply to question the existence and persistence of anything, and why things have to be the way they are. Yet is it the things around him that are in question, or the being of being a being? The lyrics are cynical, but it's not as musically heady as Radiohead, I would call it pop music for those who don't like pop. There's a bit of genius in the dark caverns of Also, covering the illness of a windowless room and fetishizing over it but knowing that a little vitamin intake from the sun is all you need to turn a smirk into a smile again.

  • Melancholic and sweet
    author: Kaisa Dahl

Drews voice is like dark chocolate, and the intruments like vanilla. Great mix! When I listen to this CD i picture the snow melting and the sun rise. I love it because it fits so perfectly into my life; summer in the city. Urban Indie. Gotta love.

  • Why aren't these guys with a major label?
    author: Peter Peacock

Where's the justice? Tunes this good should be blasting out of every convertible that's headed to the beach. Just try and top listening to Kingdom Gone with a cold one as the sun sets over the Pacific. Can't top that!
