Anu got her start singing in church at the age of 5. She is the youngest of 2 daughters and is a native of Philadelphia, Pa. In Her album, titled "True Love", Anu's vocals carry a lot of depth and emotion as she conveys a message of truth through her experience. All of the 8 songs, expect for 2 were either written or co written by Anu. All of the songs are very different from one another and has a mixture of western and eastern styles.
From the first cut, "My True Love," in which she paints a portrait of searching for the perfect love, to the straightforward "Praise The Lord," Anu reveals the source of her hope. " I'm amazed at how much God loves me in spite of my imperfections and how He's always there to deliver me", she says. His love is true, constant and it lasts more than any earthly love. God has done more for me than I could ever deserve. He created me, gave me life to enjoy and through Christ, freed me from sin. God has taken away more of my sin than I can ever realize and deserve. I'm so thankful that I never have to worry that God will run out of love for me.
Anu's wishes that her CD will bring a message of hope and peace to all those who hear it and she hopes that God's love will shine through her songs.
