Monday 7e

Edward Matthew Monday, professionally known as Monday 7E, was born in Kansas City, MO and raised in Olympia Washington. In the early 90s, Monday worked for X-1 Productions with actor/comedian Hank McGauley as a Director and Writer for a play titled “A Slice of Blackness” starring Wesley Snipes, in which Monday also acted in two of the three sketches. In 1998, Monday moved back to Kansas City and worked for J-Ron Productions. He starred in a play titled “Order in the House”. Shortly after that he was signed with Street Appeal Records and had a string of underground hits. His hit single “Tattoo Cherries on a Princess” made a huge buzz and had national radio play. All of this lead to being signed to MW Productions where he released his first nationwide CD titled MONDAY 7E. After years of a strained relationship with MW Productions, Monday was granted a full release from the label. Today, Monday 7E is an artist on the independent record label, Lucky 7 Records, and his gearing up for the release of his sophomore album, MONDAY 7E – The Saga Continues.
