Anne Stott is a Provincetown, MA based indie rock singer/songwriter whose
music is a world unto itself.  A place where the 70s rock, 80s alt pop and
classical piano of her childhood have lively conversations with the Indian
chanting and righteous poet rockers of her adult influences.  Over more
than ten years of gigs in the greater New York City and Boston areas,
albums, poetry, and acting, Stott has developed a deeply personal voice
that travels from introspection to exultation.

Stott’s third album, LOVE NEVER DIES, is out March 10, 2015.  Co-produced
by Jon Evans (Tori Amos, Sarah MacLachlan), LOVE NEVER DIES is an eclectic
indie rock exploration of why we're here, how we love, the dreams that
give us life, and the sounds that echo and sometimes answer these
questions.  Radio-ready tracks like “We Are Here”, “No Words”, and “I’ve
Known Your Name Before”, are pillars around which Stott has woven a
three-act chant-inspired dreamscape, a spoken word rocker and a lullaby
ending, among others. More than just a collection of songs, LOVE NEVER
DIES has unstoppable force and varied range, making this the most
expansive and sonically personal work Stott has recorded.

PENNSYLVANIA, produced by Jack Petruzzelli (Patti Smith, Rufus Wainwright,
Joan Osborne) was released in August 2010.  An album of restlessness and
desire, PENNSYLVANIA is a direct hit to the heart and mind of its
listeners.  The UMass Lowell Connector said, “Anne’s music speaks more
of…the conflicts were made of rather than the conflicts we’ve made.”

In 2005, Stott released her debut EP, UNTITLED MIND. In 2012, she
self-published EVERYTHING IS DIFFERENT ALL OVER AGAIN, a limited edition
compilation of poems, thoughts, and sketches.  As an actress, Stott has
played Kryla in POOR SUPERMAN (Art House), Mrs Gibbs in OUR TOWN
(Provincetown Theater directed by David Drake), and Harper in a staged
reading of ANGELS IN AMERICA: PERESTROIKA (UU Theater). She has also
hosted WORD ON THE STREET, a Provincetown TV series featuring interviews
and performances with Provincetown’s street performers.
