BIOGRAPHY
big.peaches began playing drums at age 10. He's been beating on things ever since. He loves to use traditional drums mixed with machines, found objects, found sound and assorted blips and beeps. Experimentation led big.peaches to create his first cd of electroacoustic musings, the glamorous machine. big.peaches' sophomore CD, TiLT!, is now available for download and digital streaming.
from 2004 until 2009, big.peaches was drummer and percussionist for Atlanta-based gay-acoustic-indie-folk-pop*star Wayne Fishell, and together they formed the wayne fishell experiment. They performed at Pride Fests from the fantastic to the tragic (ATL, South Park, Savannah, Jacksonville Beach, FL, Myrtle Beach, SC) and in metro-ATL venues (Eddie's Attic, Smith's Olde Bar, Red Light Cafe, Wordsmiths Books, Twain's, Kavarna, The Stage Door, LeBuzz, IF Coffeehouse, Turner Studios for TurnOUT with HGTV's David Bromstad, Cartoon Network, Outwrite Books, PushPush Theater, Bruce Wells' Southern Exposure GLBT Music Series as well as appearances for charity at Birdi's / Decatur and The CHRIS Rainbow House Premiere Party). Their CD, "optimistically hopeless" was released in February 2007.
