Biography

"Beautifully intelligent. Utterly accessible. Cellarscape bring a sound for a new decade. Enchanting pop bursting with soul." (BBC Radio Kent on Cellarscape's 'A Theta/Delta Union')

CELLARSCAPE is singer/guitarist/drummer Paul Terry’s alt-acoustic moniker that he has been writing, recording, and performing under since 2003. Fusing haunting vocal harmonies to an eclectic mix of fragile/anthemic guitars, hypnotic orchestrations, and angular samples & drums, Cellarscape songs bristle with an undeniably cinematic presence...

... So it comes as no surprise that Paul has sideline in film soundtracks. These include the 12-time award-winning werewolf tale 'The Furred Man', the acclaimed 2006 feature 'The Wake', and the award-winning short, 'Mightier'. The world-renowned Empire Film Awards have also used Paul's film music for their promo campaigns.

With the fourth Cellarscape record ‘A Theta/Delta Union’ released Nov 2011 – plus, soundtracks for 'Red Light', 'Billy & Billie', and 'Queen of Hearts’, and the debut of Paul’s atmosphere-core heavy project, Ash Tree Lane in 2012 – things remain business as usual, with Paul Terry’s music staying as eclectic as ever.
