Biography

Born and raised in Virginia. Started in music at an early age. Tastes are far and wide with few limitations. As long as it has soul and makes you feel good.

I played the college circuit in VA and neighboring states throughout my college years with a band called the Electric Woodshed. Brushes with success include playing with Bo Diddley at the Iroquois in Roanoke, VA, 1989, opening up for John Hammond Jr. at South Main Cafe in Blacksburg, VA, 1990, opening for Jerry Portnoy at SMC, opening for the Dixie Chicks at Victory Stadium in Roanoke, 1998, opening for Storeyville (Double Trouble) in Roanoke, VA, 1999, opening for Billy Ray Cyrus at Victory Stadium, in 2000, playing with Mac Gayden (Everlasting Love), his daughter Oceana Gayden, and others.

Over the years, I've played with The Electric Woodshed, Zookeeper, The Housecats, Dyer&Zannie, The Satellite of Love, The Velveetas, the Thrillbilliez, The Other White Meat (aka Two Dudes), The Gnads, The Ministers of Soul, John Sines Jr., The Pop Rivets, and other passing projects. Currently, I've been focusing on building a band to perform originals. I have two CDs released and working on a third.

Booking for Two Dudes through Sam Hill Entertainment in Charlottesville, VA (great group of people who know what they're doing!)

Blues and rock n roll. Many listeners have made comparisons to Jackson Browne, Van Morrison, Pink Floyd, Santana, Ben Folds, Billy Joel, and other great artists. Great jams. Great diversity of instrumentation. Lyrically, it speaks of love (good and bad),
