Kat Moore Band

Biography

Hailing from Lewisville, Texas, their music has been described as Country, Alternative Country, Americana and "other" depending on who you are asking.

The group released their debut album "Big Texas Sky" in March of 2009 featuring their first single "Dance All Night" which was well accepted by radio across the Lone Star state and achieved impressive chart status.

In November of 2009 KMB hit the studio once again and the result of those sessions was a powerful four track EP titled "Home" featuring the single "Married Thing", their first Top 40 hit on the Texas charts, as well as two brand new originals and a masterful rendition of the Little Feat classic "Willin".

Early this year, KMB finished up production on a new CD titled "Miss Understood, featuring the single "Country Through And Through", that's scheduled for release in April 2011. Kat promises that "fans will be intrigued with the new direction the music has taken" and she hints to a more "organic, grittier sound".
