Charles ‘Kizzo’ Kizzee - Bio
As a songwriter, producer and recording artist, Charles ‘Kizzo’ Kizzee’s musical works fall within several genres; including R&B, soul, pop, hip hop and inspirational.
Kizzo is from a small town of Huntsville Texas, located just north of Houston. His musical journey began in high school, where he performed in the varsity choir for three years. During that time he also formed and performed with his first hip hop/R&B group. After high school Kizzo attended the Art Institute of Houston, obtaining a degree in Music/Video Business. This is where he seriously began to look at a career in songwriting. After The Art Institute, Kizzo continued to mold his skills and further study the business.
Years later, along with a young local producer, Kizzo helped setup an independent record label called Seven Figure Entertainment. During his tenure, he worked closely with the label’s artists in terms of direction and development. Though he enjoyed his consultant role, it was still the opportunities to write songs for artists, whether on or off the label, that Kizzo relished most.
After a few years of working with other artists, Kizzo stepped out as a solo recording artist. With several projects to his credit, the move not only solidified him as a legitimate solo act, but also gave him a running portfolio as a songwriter and producer.
Kizzo has been invited as guest on concerts in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Atlanta, and Houston. He has been interviewed on radio by hosts in London, Las Vegas, San Antonio, Detroit, Houston, California and other regions. Kizzo has had multiple guest appearances on H.O.T. TV and Talk Back w/Terri, as well as featured in Jamsource, ITZ and Dirty South Rhythmz Magazine.
He has written and/or produced for various independent artists, as well as for stage plays, animated shows, short films, weddings, church plays, radio jingles and theme songs.
Kizzo is the total package: Songwriter, Producer, Artist and Executive Producer. It would be a great honor for Kizzo to be considered as a part of your event or publication.
