River Eden is father / daughter Christian Rock duo featuring Madeline Appleby on vocals and Warren Appleby on Guitars & Keyboards.
River Eden's influences are wide ranging. Madeline enjoys Adele, Taylor Swift, as well as Broadway Show-tunes. Warren's influences include The Beatles, Queen, Jeff Beck, Jethro Tull, Kansas, Free, & Bad Company among others.
River Eden formed in 2009 performing in the Philadelphia area. The band was formed in part due to both Madeline's and Warren's participation in their parish Lifeteen music ministry. They decided to apply their unique rock style to the many great songs they perform with Lifeteen.
Madeline, a high school student, is already an accomplished vocalist. She has been honored by the PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association) as a Soprano II in their 2010-2011 All State Choir. In addition, she has performed in countless local musical theater productions.
Warren is an accomplished guitarist that has been writing, recording, and performing for 30+ years. He has released several excellent & critically acclaimed solo instrumental CDs through CD Baby. His latest CD, "Appleby Castle" was released in April 2011. Warren is currently endorsed by Clayton USA guitar picks.
