The Springs are a multi-award winning young band out of South Alabama. They first broke on to the scene back in 2007, and in 2008 won the ICM "Youth Artist of The Year" award, in Nashville, TN. They are on a mission to bring more teenagers to Country Music. Their music is a "different kind" of country music, sometimes called "family friendly". Their 20 year old singer/songwriter, Stewart, has already written over a 100 songs, and won his first songwriters award in Nashville when he was just 18. The Springs latest self-titled CD, contains 17 songs all written by the kid. The Springs, have already had FOUR number ones on the Christian Country charts, and three songs which have made the TOP 100 mainstream Music Row Country chart. They recently won the New Music Awards "Country New Group of The Year", and have just moved to Nashville. Having Top 10 hits on both, Europe's CMA main Country chart, and in the U.S., on New Music Weekly's main Country chart, The Springs are showing the radio world that Country music listeners are wanting more then just the "drinking" songs Nashville is putting out.
