Vivid Glimpse was formed in 2009 by brothers Andy and Richard Vellacott. They released their debut album "Into The Precipice" in 2010. The music on the album was entirely original, inspired by bands such as Genesis, Yes and Porcupine Tree and it proved popular with fans of the Progressive Rock genre achieving radio airplay in many territiories around the world.

With Andy taking the responsibility for lead vocals and drums, Richard plays all the keyboards and basses and also covers some of the guitars and backing vocals.
