Biography

William Steffey is a multi-instrumentalist songwriter and producer from Chicago whose tenth album "Kid Ghosts" will be released on May 5th. The collection of songs offers up a fusion of honest rock and cool new wave. According to indie-music.com, Steffey's lyrics "depict a sharp wit and wisdom and often engage in meaningful social commentary." The literal action of Kid Ghosts takes place in a society amidst an overbearing corporate presence and a breakneck technology curve. Through these stories, Steffey explores the relationships between progress, isolation, love and redemption.

Steffey began recording at age twelve when he received a 4-track recorder for his birthday. Since then, his music has been featured on hundreds of radio stations worldwide.
