The cd was @#*!ing awsome.SOME PEOPLE just don't appreciate what this cd has to offer.I could listen to it all day while SOME PEOPLE say it hurts their head to listen to it for two hours. Okay...the volume is up all the way,it's blaring loud and it hasen't shutup for two hours once, but it doesn't hurt! SOME PEOPLE are just f-ing idiots. And I use that term lightly!

  • for all who are oppressed
    author: eartheartbeat

saw them in concert in flagstaff, although acoustic, their message and spirit riveted my soul with a new flame, renewed courage. the lyrics speak of the souls crying out of all those who are oppressed, specifically native americans. the drumbeat and chords cry out the prayers of those who have gone. those who have been sleeping, this will wake ya, if not, ressurection is futile. peace out.

Most of the names of the witnesses interviewed for this report have been changed to protect their security and the security of their relatives. Government authorities and security forces were continuing to intimidate and arrest witnesses to the killings at the hour of the publication of this report and the safety of witnesses and their relatives could not be guaranteed. Even though I normally reserve perfection for the Creator's creations, Blackfire is perfect, they are one of the Creator's greatest gifts. Thanks for the music. I hope to be able to use "Exile" in my graduate film. Niawen.

    Great Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhit Man !

A powerful cry for the people. Weaving compassion for those whose voices are silenced by years of oppression with bone-crushing musicianship, this true punk band, touched with Native American musical elements, screams from the heart of Dine' (Navajo) Country, where at this very moment people are fighting to keep their land and lives intact in the wake of "manifest destiny" and the ever oppressive coal and gas industry. With a little help from Joey Ramone, Blackfire delivers a powerful performance with penetrating messages and stunning conviction. Once you hear them, the political origins of the punk genre take on a new dimension; you'll suddenly understand what it has been missing.

  • this group shows their passion and has the abilities to match it
    author: rugu

This CD caries strong messages and the artists skills clearly shine. very different in style from the 'woody guthrie' album, but every bit as good. i would highly reccomend purchasing any of their works

  • Powerful Music!
    author: Dean Mieras

I heard a couple of cuts from this CD on KVMR, Nevada City. I was moved by the message I heard and I am glad to own the CD and be able to hear all that Blackfire has to say. The music behind the words is well done, also.

    author: Clarissa

One Nation Under is a great testament of the Native Peoples. Its about time other people heard about the struggle. The music has a great message and sound. I came to CD Baby just to buy it. It stays in my vehicle and we listen to it everyday!

  • Not Hate, but anger - It's time for change
    author: Nathan Cowllishaw

One Nation Under, has no hate in it! It is a righteous anger with a righteous cause. It is time to stop the forces that are hindering indegenous peoples. It is time to stop the great injustices and misfortunes that are Destroying beautiful-traditional ways of life. One Nation Under, is a call to people all over for help. I love the land! What is happening to the traditional dineh at Black Mesa / Big Mountain is a disgrace. These poor people are being denied their human rights. The US government is behind it - IS THIS THING THAT IS HAPPEING TO THESE RESISTORS AT BLACK MESA FREEDOM? NO! SO WHAT DOES THE US GOVERMENT STAND FOR??? ALL IT STANDS FOR IS CORRUPTION!!! IT IS TIME FOR CHANGE!

  • "Pure, Passion, Anger, Hate", xcellent driving forces!
    author: Barri Bass*/s2k Music Concepts

It's been a long time for me and the industry to hear punk/rock at it's finest! I recently received a copy of this CD and find myself turning off the crap on the radio and playing this CD over and over. I especially like the song "Lying to Myself" featuring the late Joey Ramone. Also the musicianship and productions are xcellent. I actually give this CD 10+ stars for divesity and gutts! Buy it and see for yourself!

  • Level is the best song.
    author: Guess Who?

This song is much like what blink182 would sound like but regardless of everything it just sounds good. But I can listen to the whole CD nonstop I can't do that with any other CDS of mine. Great pictures you look nicer in the photo. I'm allowed to write these things right. JK but really it's a great CD. Keep it up.
