Blue Jupiter is an edgy pop-funk band that has everything to offer, but instruments. The Recent winners of Oreo's "Milk's Favorite Jingle Contest" hosted by American Idol's Randy Jackson, can be heard on the radio nationwide performing their funky-pop version of the classic Oreo Jingle. Blue Jupiter rocked audiences recently headlining at VH1's Save The Music Event in Oswego, NY, Braking the Cycle (annual AIDS fundraiser), and an international tour to Hong Kong. Blue Jupiter was a featured act at the Harmony Sweepstakes, both in Washington DC and New York City, winning Audience Favorite and Best Arrangement two years in a row. Blue Jupiter’s debut album “Ear Candy” was nominated for best contemporary album of the year by the Contemporary A Cappella Society and have since produced two more albums - "Scattered Flurries", and "Live in NYC" with a fourth on the way.     Nice mix of catchy and snappy against mellow, soul-touching tunes. For those who love ballads and slower harmonies, the four or five titles that fit that description are well worth the purchase; haunting renditions that are smooth as velvet.

    This is the only cd that i have of blue jupiter but it was fantastic. I heard them live last year and i didn't know if the cd would be as good but i honestly don't think i can find a better a capella cd out right now.

    I've only had my CD for a short time and I'm wearing it out! I'm a huge fan of acapella and these guys absolutely have the goods. Strong bass, great vocal percussion, fantastic arrangements and flawless harmonies. This CD spans multiple styles: funk, swing, ballads and just about every genre in between. I particularly like their covers of Sir Duke, Smooth and Hallelujah. I can't recommend Blue Jupiter any more highly -- get yourself a copy and support these guys...let 'em know we want them to put out more great music!

    This is not your typical acapella CD - many others I've heard are flat, for lack of a better word - the voices, the lyrics and the illusion of instruments created here comes to life in full color - you can feel the energy from the get go - all great music has that, no matter the genre. Hope these guys stay at it; I look forward to the next CD! Saw their show in Ohio at a school function - now in Texas but will absolutely go again if the opportunity arises. Bought several of these CDs as holiday gifts for friends.

    This CD is an arrangement of A Cappella abilities like I've never heard before. From great singing, voices, to Chris the human trumpet, to Marty the human drum set. I've never heard a cappella this great without any tricks or illusions ever! Not only that but you guys seem like real down to earth nice guys. Rare talent. Can't wait to hear more!

    I loved everything on this cd! The "nightlight" song I especially liked even if they used instruments. I like how they had classic songs such as Lil Red Riding Hood and songs the artists themselves wrote.

    These guys were great! I was able to see them 4x in 2 days and meet them twice-thanks guys,(yeah.. WOW!) here in Chris's home town (the burgh!). Where we were the 1st to hear their NEW song about Chris's mom... you will LOVE it!! And while their CD is a amazing it doesnt do their voices justice, so if you ever get a chance to see these guys in person.. GO- it's completely worth it! Not to mention how ~GREAT LOOKING~ these guys are.. JUSTIN-gimmie a call;)!! If you dont have this CD already... get it-now!

    Ear Candy was one of the best CD's i hace gotten in a long time. I loved the group when they came and performed at my high school (Newport High School...GO TIGERS LOL!!)and we all want to see them come back very soon. The girls really went WILD at the concert for these guys. Even my cousin loves you guys, and she hasn't even gotten to see you perform...and thats great because she is extremely hard to please when it comes to music. all i have to say is its a great CD, everyone at Newport High School says hi and we all want you to come back soon, and keep up the great work you guys!!!

    I was lucky enough to see Blue Jupiter at my high school and they did a little tutorial for all the choir classes and most of the band classes. Yes, I'm a Chi-Hi girl, and I was very impressed. I'm in choir and I know talent when I hear it, and these guys are very talented. You should all buy this CD!

    Just got back from a Blue Jupiter Concert and it was great I bought ear candy, which the guys autographed ( thanx guys ! ) I can not wait til Oct. for their holiday album !! I took my teenage daughters and we all had a blast. If you haven't yet you MUST check out ear candy it will be somethig you listen to over and over again. I am just wired from the experince.     I loved the cd and I knew I would when they performed at Granton Schools. It's just interesting to see different techniques of making music. One thing though, after Hallejiuah, I don't find it appropriate at all to start singing the beer song after that :P

    After seeing the group perform in concert in Owen,WI I had to purchase the CD. This is the most amazing collection of beautifully done songs that I have in my collection. My children and I listen to the songs over and over again. They just seem to get better and better. The harmony is out of this world.

    I love it, I don't know what I did before I got a copy from my brother after they preformed at his school.The songs just get better and better as you listen, and that is how they get you to listen to each song with more and more interest. Once I listened once I had to listen again and again. The music is amazing. The cd is a make you feel good, make you forget your troubles cd.

    The most fantastic and energetic a cappella I've ever heard! The four members of Blue Jupiter create a blend of sound so perfect that it is usually difficult to tell who is singing which part, or even how many of them there are. I'm also VERY impressed with the sound quality of the recording -- it makes my "10 most perfectly mixed and mastered CDs" list and sounds great in my car (on a 1000-watt competition-level system), with several overtones extending below 30Hz - I don't know how they did that.

    I wanted to say that this cd was great. In fact, when another one gets out I am for sure buying it. I like all the music. Smooth and Stand By Me because they were origanilly hard/pop type music, but accapella* brought out the words a lot more. Keep it up! *=spelling

    I have seen these guys in concert and they are awesome, but this CD does not do them justice. They use tracks and even guitar on a track. The best song on here is "Wrapped up in You", I think I like that one because the arrangement is the most original. Stand by me and little red ridinghood are way too basic for these guys. They should have out All the small things on here, they kick on that song in concert. I was also a little dissapointed in the fact that the CD does not promote the fact that it is mostly a cappella, it even says "drum tracks" not vocal drums or vocal percussion. Overall it's an okay CD, but it is not what I had expected, I just ope they don't go down the same road as The Blenders and sellout...

    Ear Candy will fill your speakers, I just hope your speakers have enough range... these guys will max them out! Blue Jupiter has arranged some classic grooves and Ear Candy is filled with fresh but familiar songs (my favorites - Smooth, Mr. Pinstripe Suit, Sir Duke). Don't miss the originals either. You'll find Ear Candy addicting. I lent out my CD to a friend and I can't get it back. I may need to buy it again! Go ahead - take the green shaggy carpet ride!
