Once upon a time a mother sang and danced with her little girl in her arms, and together they started writing a song they called BALLOONS. Although they had only a chorus, the young girl carried the song in her heart for many years until she grew up, got married and eventually became a mother herself...
When Judianna Castle and her husband singer/songwriter/producer Buddy Castle learned they were expecting a child, Judianna was inspired to begin writing songs again for her baby. By the time their daughter Amy was two years old she had enough melodies and lyrics for an album.
Buddy started arranging and recording the tracks for the yet untitled album and decided to enlist the help of their long time friend, veteran writer/arranger Dick Williams. For the next three years Dick worked together with Judianna and Buddy in the couple's home studio refining and arranging the songs, and writing additional verses, bridges and intros when they were needed. Judianna shared the story of BALLOONS with Buddy and together they finished writing what had gone unfinished for so many years, presenting the completed work to Judianna's original cowriter/mother Olga as a birthday present and, ultimately, making BALLOONS the album's title track.

My mother-in-law gave me this tape after I had my daughter (Emma Claire, born July 26, 2000) and Emma just loves it!! She especially likes listening to it in the car. Unlike most babies, she doesn't like being in her car seat or in the car. It's the ONLY time she kind of fusses. Other than that, she's consistently happy!! I put your tape in while driving to work one morning, and she instantly was talking and cooing. She just loves it! My husband got tears in his eyes when he heard it. (So did I). I just wanted to let you know that two years ago I ordered a Balloons tape for my grandson and one for myself. We have so enjoyed the music and both my grandson and his little sister who has been born in the meantime both go off to sleep listening to this music. Now I am looking forward to the birth of a third grandchild and have ordered a CD for this new little one coming to join our family. There is only one word to describe this product----wonderful. I'm a 70 year old grammy who received the BALLOONS tape for my birthday. My daughter had let me hear it on her computer and I was worse than a kid, saying "play it again" over and over. I could just picture the sweet child that was singing and couldn't hear it enough. I got lots of lovely presents for my birthday, but none that pleased me more than this tape. In this crazy age with people abusing and abandoning children, it is wonderful to hear someone sing to a beloved child. Mine were the light and joy of my life and I can still remember how sweet they were when they were little. This tape makes a great gift for a baby shower. All the songs are great but "Cuppycake" is my favorite! Thanks for a breath of fresh air! Sincerely,

    I highly recommend this CD to anyone. I'm 29 and still enjoy all the cute songs on here! I actually don't have any kids and bought this CD for my puppy, but you can catch me tapping my feet to it. I put it on for my puppy when I have to leave the house. It seems to calm her down.     We received our "Balloons" CD in very good time and in good condition. We bought two, one for my husband and I (ages 66 & 70) and one for our great grandchildren. Before I ordered the CD my husband asked if I still had the download of "Cuppycake" which came through the internet. I did not, found your site, listened to it again and promptly ordered. "You're My Honeybunch" is still our favourite but "Good Morning Baby" and "Good Night Baby" are wonderful. Every song on this CD is annointed and we wish you and yours God's Richest Blessings.

    My mother ordered this cd for my son when he was born..... hes gonna be 1 on november 28th 2007...My Son Lays down so peaceful and listens to this cd .... and within 5 minutes hes passed out... i love all the songs on the cd especially the cuppycake song... all the little kids in my mothers apartment complex sing it because they hear it playing in my moms place...... and i love the song a mommy's work is never done.l.. because its true especially when your a single mother.....     Cuppycake and Honeybunch are one of a kind! can you make please another version of Cuppycake by Amy now that she's 17. lol! it would be great! The song is very famous on and off the net! I actually have a copy of it on my phone and i always listen to it before i sleep! I also taught the children in our street that song, now everybody in our place love the songs!

    My granddaughter and I use to listen to the cuppycake song on a doll website. Then the site was deleted and we lost our favorite song. On Doll-Fan I heard where the CD Balloons could be purchased. So I bought two, one for the granddaughter and one for myself. She will lay for the longest and listen to her CD and sing out loud.     My mother's best friend sent her the cuppy cake song in an email when my son was around 2 years old. She quickly memorized the words and tune and began singing it to him. It was their special song. He is now 6 years old we have a 2 year old little girl that loves singing the cuppy cake song with her MeMa!! I love this entire cd.
