notes
Statement from guitarist/vocalist Bumblefoot (taken from CD liner notes)
Originally, this CD was going to be called "Guitars SUCK"
After the tragedies of September 11th, there was no question but to dedicate this CD to the incomparable honor, courage, and bravery of all those who gave their lives to save others, to the memory of all those no longer with us, to the comfort and healing of those suffering with personal losses.
And also to commemorate the unbreakable goodness of the human spirit. In times of tragedy, we join together and are there for each other. Nothing can destroy the collective human spirit - those who try only make it stronger.
Lastly, I dedicate this CD to YOU - I'm donating all the profits of this CD to the American Red Cross, but the truth is that *you're* donating it, through the purchase of this CD. So I'm dedicating this CD to *your* generosity, and thank you for helping those in their time of need. YOU make the world a better place.

ARTIST BIO:
Bumblefoot (aka Ron Thal) is a recording artist and international touring artist from NYC with seven albums released since 1995. Fronting the band as lead singer/guitarist, the music is hard rock, bordering on quirky and experimental. Known for his unusual guitar-work, Bumblefoot has been on the covers of guitar magazines around the world. His guitar playing can be heard in the Spanish guitar soloing of Jessica Simpson's "Irresistible" dance mix, the punky guitar riff of SpikeTV Network's "MXC" theme song, in the background of MTV's The Osbornes, The Real World, and much more...
Bumblefoot works out of his studio in Princeton NJ where he collaborates with artists as a songwriter/producer and writes for publishing companies, video games and TV shows. Bumblefoot is a volunteer for the MS Research Foundation (www.msrf.org), a non-profit organization that donates funds directly to Multiple Sclerosis research.

The new 'Passion and Warfare'
author: guitar_man_6This album shows Rons virtuosity and variety with a range of musical ideas and screaming solos that go further than the minor pentatonic box positions. I've got a lot of practicing to do... :P
Good stuff. Highly recommended.
author: SamOnce again proof that modern music can be original and intelligent AND still be fun to listen to. Not only that, but if you buy the album you'll be doing something good, as 100% of the profits go to the American Red Cross. My hat goes off to Mr Thal on yet another wonderfully colourful album. 'Nuff said.
Quirky, inventive, and impressive.
author: Stumblefoot9.11 is an exceptional disc encompassing a variety of styles with incredible musicianship. Most impressive is that the songs remain focused and tight amid the array of Bumblefoot's dizzying acrobatic guitar heroics. No mindless machine gun shredding to be found.
Finally, some creative guitar music...
Tired of guitar cd's with overabundant shredding, drum machines and sequencers, and uninspired noodling? None of that here. Nice work Bumblefoot.
Amazingly innovative
author: Blue wizardRon thal is a musical genius. his style is one of the most innovative i have ever heard. he blends many different styles in to one harmonious flow. He is one of the best guitarist out there. amazing solos, humerous songs wow
Best guitar playing, most innovative song writing and production around
author: gianmarc johnsBumblefoot is not just another extremely technically proficient guitarist. His ecclectic style combining metal, jazz, classical, and a little funk is at its best in this album. If you appreciate top notch musicianship but are tired of hearing groups that all sound the same get this cd!
Senoir Foot isa very good no?
author: James WentOne of the true geniuses of the electric guitar. You need this CD. How one piece of reflective plastic can encompass so many different styles of music and yet stay true to that good old BBF originality amazes me every time. Ron is da man!
Great job!
author: BravefartMr. Thal is always inspirin'... It seems he doesn't know how to be predictable... If you're searchin' for somethin' to feed your ears, your brain AND your hands (if you play guitar), look no further!
Bumblefoot bloody rocks !
author: ElmoboBumblefoot is da man. One of those few artists able to surprise you with every new release. This CD contains astounding guitar works, but it's far from being your standard guitar album. Buy it now !
The future of Guitar music
author: Pow PowThe first time guitars sound this way. You won't believ what you hear. It's all new, all different. And most of all, this is not a CD reserved exclusively to guitarists : there are intelligent lyrics and BFoot's voice is simply amazing here. Plus, your money will be used to help people that really need it... A must have.
