notes
This release breaks a five year recording hiatus for Cash Nexus and features some of his most personal and irreverent work to date.
Recorded in November 2004 as a project for Douglas Wolk's National Solo Album Month (NaSoAlMo), "Melonballer" contains several politically-charged songs, some spooky and creepy numbers, a few silly ones, a couple of rockers, and a very pretty song called "Rose Petals" that is as sentimental and confusing as the love it describes.
This album is both humorous and scary, like the government.
Or a carnival.
The creation of this album is archived on The Cash Nexus website (blog).
