Album Notes

Sean Forsythe's work as :10: is a dark and twisting sonic journey. Equal parts fuzzed out hyper paced beats, fractured sampled soundscapes and dense digital bass, it is electronic music that is both visceral and introspective. Though "Video" presents a varied range of styles between the songs, it is held together by a singular theme of paranoia and melancholy. It is almost cinematic, as though this were the soundtrack to a horror movie playing over and over in his mind. Rather than a masked killer, we see (hear) that the true villain here is an abstract pit of isolation, despair and futility eating away at the insides of everything and everyone.


An engaging and ultimately satisfying listening experience. Recommended for fans of Akira Yamaoka's work on the Silent Hill OST(s), Ab Ovo, or Daniel Meyer's Architect.
