Lithuanians always sang while working or celebrating. They sang to chase away sadness or to help them survive difficult times. Here is a collection of popular traditional songs. We remember our mothers humming some of them when we were little. Some were joyfully bellowed by our fathers while savoring their beer. Feel free to try singing them.
