Album Notes

Espers is the first release by independent composer Meteo Xavier under his 12 Followers handle. It features almost a year's worth of work creating a unique, professional, conceptual album of music on a single computer (two, counting a resounding collaboration with composer Michael Huang), no hardware, and no compromises for the sound it generates. The goal of Espers was to give each song a different world to create, and you a world to explore in your meditations, whatever they might be.

3/11/10 EDIT: Additionally, the album artwork looks more faded than it should. I'm assuming this is the result of compression or something. The album cover is up to professional standards I assure you. If not, I'll have it replaced with a version that looks right.

Contemplation, relaxation, and more

Meteo really moved me with this album. It's soothing, it's pure mood, and it's versatile. To me, this is the perfect music for deep thought or meditation; I feel it works equally well for simple relaxation, though, for putting your mind at ease. The warm, ambient textures that form the soundscape of /Espers/ are truly calming to me, offering both clarity of thought and peace of mind. This album offered me very much for very little--I strongly recommend it to anyone.

Meteo's soundscapes are really atmospheric. Like, a whole other planet atmospheric. This music is relaxing, ambient, but interesting at the same time. A pleasant surprise for me! Nice work Meteo, and keep up the good work!

Heavenly ambient soundscapes

This album is spectacular. Listening to these tracks makes me feel like I'm in another world. In fact, these songs would go well if they were used in Panzer Dragoon Zwei. This is my go-to album when I need to calm myself and relax.
