Album Notes

12 Pearls is a band. 12 pearls is cool. No, they are way cool. Why, the jaded music fan might ask? Because 12 Pearls is from Oklahoma, yet do not blatantly copy the sounds of the Chainsaw Kittens or Flaming Lips (though we agree those are cool bands) 12 Pearls is cool because they sound like the Robinson Brothers and Rivers from Weezer got in a nasty bar-fight, then made up over a bunch of tequilas and hopped on a stage for a freaky blues-geekrock supergroup. 12 Pearls is cool because their debut album was recorded by Alex Gerst (producer of Slow Roosevelt, Fixture and many more) and it is cool. Want to see just how cool? Check out http://www.12pearls.net No Justice fans take note: Brandon Jackson (NJ guitarist) sings lead on three tracks here (Truth, Don't Wanna Leave, and Right and Wrong), and does harmonies on the others.
