Russell and Armstrong drink from the same deep well that inspired Uncle Tupelo's best work...it remains to be seen whether Armstrong and Russell will end up as legendary as Tweedy and Farrar-but if they keep producing work this strong, it's not our of the question.

Not anything like Tweedy and Farrar, but EXCELLENT

These guys are totally unique. The songs themselves are all over the map, which could possibly throw some listeners off. Nevertheless, each composition has a depth rarely seen in music today. It's hard to believe they're from Alabama. The production is not "professional", but who cares when the material is this strong.
