She's a monster, 17 Speedhead that is! Where do these small town Saskatchewan boys get all that energy? After a blistering, set at the Side Track Cafe in Edmonton, Rhonda Mulligan from StickyMusicGroup was quoted as saying, "it should be a prerequisite for every serious band to see 17 Speedhead's act. It is unlikely, and probably near impossible to imitate their energy though!" This is a 3-piece powerful hard rock band, with a heavy pop attitude. Pop? Well not exactly...but you'll want to sing along! Gerald Brisson is a gutsy, albeit slightly eccentric, cock- rock-jock. His brother Maurice sings like a bird and lays down the beat like a quantitized jack- hammer. Justin plays the super low bass notes that force the young girls to move and groove. And all of it amounts to 17 Speedhead...she's 17...she's fast!

The Cd...amazed me. They kept me listening the whole way. I can't put it down. Splintered Nights really hit the spot. So did the rest of the CD. They know what they are doing. And they are so nice in person. I saw them at Fete Au Village here in Alberta, and wow. Great job on the CD! I love it!
