I' ve played this for a whole bunch of people.  Everyone digs the layered vocals, and the breadth of style.  Each song is complex in it's own right, but not to the naked eye.  First listen hooks them, then they (we) notice all of the intricacies; the weaving of guitar, bass & drums in and out of 1-$tring's wide range of vocal talent, the song structures, etc... But the most diggable thing, is how I wake up in the morning with "Scotch Whiskey", "All Holed Up"  or "Soul Dentist" stuck in my head like a 45 you just had to hear again and again and again.

This album is one of the Best I've heard in years. If you Love Vinyl then You'll Love 1 String Woody.  When I first listen all I could see in my Head was my days as a Youth. Free and Easy. Its easy to allow songs such as Scoth Whiskey to take you away.  Remember that last time you went to the bar and couldn't remember how you got home.
