Great garage band sound. Nice first CD.

Nothing to Write Home About is a good first CD. I like the somewhat garage-band sound they have. I particularlly like Dumb. It's why I bought the album. My only complaint is that the whole CD sounds like someone has been messing with it in the mixing studio. An original version of Dumb that used to be available on the 21 Against website was much more raw and enjoyable. Most of the songs have great lyrics and good old fashioned rock rhythm and lead, but the edginess seems to be have knocked off or muted, after the fact. Still worth the buy.
