“Exceptionally original...genuine inspiration“ (Progressor.net) both describe the sounds of 23 Current. These recording artists play a style of rock music that layers multiple guitars with other “highly textured sounds” (Guitar Nine Records) in progressive compositions.

Curve of the Universe combines rock songs such as “Truth and Lies” and acoustic/blues rock like “Skin Deep” with the harder, edgier “Letters in Stone” and “Sound and Sight.” It also contains instrumentals that vary from layered guitars and keyboards in the title track to a classical piano piece. The arrangements sporadically lull you into a melodic sense of security just before they sonically attack your senses.
