A hell of a lot going on here, intelligence, direction, an enjoyable marriage of sweet and saturated melodic blossoms attacked by dynamic, ferocious outbreaks of burning raw guitar dissonance.

Late in 2005 23frames were asked to contribute a song for Mile High Music compilation 'I Love New Cross - Replugged' consisting of music by local bands. They recorded the song 'I Don't Want Your Germs' which ended up sounding so good that an album recording was inevitable, so the band began composing 'The Mystery Calculator'.
Entirely self-produced, the album was recorded live over 2 days in an east-end squat, was mastered by the world renowned Jon Astley (The Who, Led Zeppelin, Tori Amos...to name just a few) and is proving to be one of the most exhilarating records released in 2009. Songs from The Mystery Calculator have received airplay on numerous local and internet radio stations, as well as independent station ResonanceFM and the band were also interviewed on BBC Radio's 6-Music.
